The Alaia is an ancient Hawaiian finless surfboard design. This is as environmentally friendly as you can get. The board starts as rough sawn Paulownia lumber that is planed, jointed, and shaped. Then finished off with a water based wood sealant. Everyone should own one of these beautiful and simple boards from where it all began.
